Small industrial media cabinet

This is obviously a small version of the media cabinets I do, and on 5 inch casters.  Its about 38 inches wide and has a wine rack to hold 4 bottles of wine. 

Industrial Kitchen Island

This is a big kitchen island with a drawer that spans the length of the island at about 54 inches long, and it has a walnut wood top that I made, by joining several pieces of walnut together and sanding for about 6 hours.  Also a cool all metal coffee table that is 42 inches square and on cast iron wheels.

Life is for doing.

Life should be attacked.  Most of us love or at least really wonder at old vintage things.  We look at them and hold them and wonder what these things have been through, and then put them on a shelf to stare at.  That never made sense to me.  Old tools and furniture, and cars and bikes are made to be used not put behind glass.  It goes right along with someone who buys a new couch and then takes it home and puts it under plastic.  If you want to sit on plastic, then why don't people just grab a pillow and wrap it in all the old plastic bags from the grocery store, and save money.  The point is, things only get better with age, but are not made to last forever, and the same goes for us.  We are just some of these things also, and we won't be put behind glass on a shelf.  We only have one shot.

My Dreams

This is what my head is full of at night.  I have dreams that I am climbing things like this and running from people shooting at me.  Why?  I don't know, but I like it.
