Change is coming.

We are in the middle of a very large projects so this is the reason for no posts. As always, Instagram and Facebook are the best places to see snapshots of work and also the website at Justinrealfurniture.com , which will get a makeover this coming year. Also, we are going to streamline some things and some of the favorite items we sell will be available for purchase and shipping on a ready to go basis, they will also be at lower price points . Our main focus will be custom interesting projects, but it's too hard to ignore the demand for our popular items , so we are working the next few months to have several options ready to ship. We will update this site also.

Projects

As always we are very busy. Here's some snapshots of things we are working on or completed. Also, we are in the early stages of opening a coffee bar in our town on Loveland Colorado.  We will of course be building the bar and furniture for it and creating an amazing atmosphere while serving the best coffee possible.

Full schedule ahead.

It's been a while since I've posted here but there's a lot to keep up with. We maintain traffic through our website  at justinrealfurniture.com. We have our online stores on Etsy, Houzz.com, custommade, sonder  mill.  Usually as of late I post more snapshots of what I'm working on through instagram  and facebook. A few things to touch on. I've received  a ton of resumes by email and several phone calls looking for apprenticeships. As of right now I have all the help I need and at least for right now I don't have enough time for an apprentice. I do have all the info for everyone  whose sent me resumes and will look through them in future if needed.

I'm pretty booked through June and possibly  August right now, but it is possible  with certain things I can fit them in so just ask first at rljstn@yahoo.com.

Work coming up this year. Have some big projects. Building some tables for Trip Advisor. Working on the expansion of Boulder Brands and building  12 conference  tables, a giant 16 foot farm table, reception  desk and several bistro tables. Will be working with Macy's  on several things. Also will be building items for another Isle of Capri  casino.  I'm also going to be working with  company called Mocaventures who normally  design modern kitchens  but have a special  client  who wants a kitchen  based around items from me. There  are lots more but this is all I can remember  at the moment.  Will post pictures  as progress moves along.

Home bar

Here is a home bar I just finished. It has 6 drawers with dovetail  joints, hickory top stained with ebony stain before sealed. It houses a sub zero fridge that I built an overlay door for so it all matches. It is around 6.5 feet long about 40 high and 24 deep. Everything  was kind of built around the fridge so it dictated how it all fit together. It's going to its new home tomorrow. There were a lot of hours in this one. As always.  These are my designs and in no way can they be copied without my consent.

Extremely busy

We've been really busy beyond words at the shop. I believe somehow I've gotten caught up enough where I can take new work orders but they would not start until January.  I absolutely can't take any more to be completed this year. Along with all my individual orders I am working on a big project for a new BEMC market in Florida for Kuhlman Design Group.

Jdavis architects cabinet

This is a cabinet I made for JDavis Architects. Its about 10 feet long. I spent a serious amount of time on drilling and tapping and countersinking screws so there was the least amount of welding possible shown. The ends detach for shipping. The stainless rings surrounding the holes in top will allow for trash cans to be housed under. The one on right will have a Starbucks coffee system over it and waste from the coffee grounds will spill through the hole. There will be pictures on my website soon at justinrealfurniture.com

Flat file drawer

This is a flat file drawer that has 7 drawers and will have a maple top and drawer faces will be maple along with the back, and it will be on casters. Will post pictures next week.

Office desk

Here's an office desk I built for a gentleman from Boulder Colorado. I built some desks and other pieces for his office last year and this was just a small work desk for him to use at his home. I used a 1 1/4 inch thick birch top with cladding on ends. Like all my L shaped desks it detaches at the return so its easily assembled after shipping.

Kitchen.cabinet

This is a kitchen cabinet I just completed. I built it so it will fit right into a nook in the wall the homeowners have built during construction of the house. Its 9 feet long and 2.5 feet deep and 36 inches high. Every door has a keyed lock and a door catch. Along with the handles I've been making to put on most things lately. It has reclaimed elm wood on top and I spent a lot if time on little details so it turned out extra clean in.the end.

Bar cart

This is a bar cart I built for Jessica Jubelirer Design. Has locking door with adjustable shelf, reclaimed Douglas fir, vintage casters, wine bottle and glass holders, a drawer, and bottle shelves on end plus lots of little details. The strip on front bottom is removeable so fridge slides right in then it screws back on. I built the overlay door to look just like right side door but it goes on fridge. I had a 10 pound weight limit for this. There's also a slot to slide glass in right side door and its held with set screws.

Hostess stand

This is a hostess stand for hotel Teatro in Denver. It has two drawers and 6 adjustable shelves. Also a false back that allows wires to run from top through hollow space in back to the bottom so the cords really are not seen. Big money if you want these things.

Fridge overlay door panel

The door on left is a solid 3x1 tube door with a slot on back side that a piece of glass will slide into. The overlay on right is a wood core door I covered with 18 gauge sheet metal bent around by bending brake and welded up. Then its routered out on back to let the mesh sandwich between fridge door and overlay panel. I'm not showing the backs because I Dont want to give my secrets away. The point was to make them look the same but the overlay door had a weight limit of 10 pounds. I came in about 7 lbs. This was a lot of fun. Will shoe finished piece soon.
